Shark Fishing

bronze whalerSharks and the reef go hand in hand and sometimes can be an unwanted nuisance, although sometimes can be a lot of fun and a great challenge to land them.

With numerous Bronze whaler and reef sharks always present, and the odd Tiger shark and Hammer head shark are well worth seeing.

The Tiger Shark can get truly massive, but the odd bonus is a baby tiger with distinct stripes, which will diminish with age.

Although a fired up 10 foot hammerhead shark at the back of the boat is an awesome sight and will truly amaze they can give the fisherman a fantatic fight and something to remember when telling his tall fishing stories to his friends and family..

Tiger SharkDusk is a great time for the sharks to come out to feed and can sometimes make it very challenging to get a reef fish to the boat. Sharks go hard and will definitely work you out.

As annoying as this can be every fisherman lives for the fight of a great fish and hooking into a shark is no exception they will give you an enormous fight right to the very end.

On occassion this can be at the expense of your massive coral trout which was destined for the dinner table. With the heavy game gear and a wire trace, we can get you up close and personal for a better look at the elusive shark, although not to close.

We strongly support release of all unwanted fish and sharks and gladly take photo’s.

Hammer Head SharkWe can specifically customise a boat charter if it is shark fishing action you are looking for. Remember though we like to release all sharks alive.
